About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and dependable Automobile Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality automotive repair and maintenance services. As a technician, you’ll play a key role in ensuring vehicles are safe, reliable, and returned to customers on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance services (oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, etc.).
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems.
- Conduct inspections and identify potential issues before they become major problems.
- Use diagnostic tools, service manuals, and technical resources to troubleshoot efficiently.
- Accurately complete repair orders and maintain detailed service records.
- Communicate effectively with service writers/managers about repair needs and timelines.
- Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.
- Stay current with the latest automotive technology, tools, and repair techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or automotive trade school preferred.
- 2+ years of professional experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair methods.
- Ability to use modern diagnostic equipment and hand tools.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- ASE certifications (or willingness to obtain) are a plus.
