Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Service Technician to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive maintenance and repair, along with the ability to provide exceptional service to our customers.
- This role involves performing routine maintenance, changing oil, tire replacement and repairs, general cleaning of shop and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and technical expertise.
Duties:
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire service, and other essential services.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform repairs.
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate services.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
- Document all services performed and communicate findings with customers clearly.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a General Service Technician or in a similar role is preferred.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to automotive repair.
- Strong understanding of automotive repair processes.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Must have you own tools.
- A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to automotive service are a plus.
